July 24th (Pioneer Day in Utah) presented itself with an amazing opportunity to get out of the heat and go play on Cedar Mountain. I went to my roommates family cabin with her and we had an amazing BBQ and got to ride 4 Wheelers. Their cabin is pretty amazing. I love going up there it is so relaxing and fun. Anyway, here are some pics! Enjoy!
A few months ago my camera, that my family bought for me, broke. It was the camera they purchased for me before I went to Alaska so I was really sad when it happened. I have been putting off buying a new one because 1) I don't have any money and 2) I really liked my other camera. Anyway hopefully I will start to post more blogs now that it is fixed. I can't really commit to anything, but I will really try. The camera isn't anything great and marvelous, but it will do for what I need.
My new puppy!!! She has been named Layni Ryan Bunderson! In all honesty I will probably never use her middle name it was just really hard for me to decide between the names Layni and Ryan. I purchased her November 19th, 2009. She was a COMPLETE impulse buy! I had been wanting a puppy off and on for about 9 months or so and my roommate and I had gone to a pet store the day before and there were some really cute Yorkies that I fell in love with. But they were $900. There was no way I could afford that. So my roommate (Brenna) told me about an advertisement in the newpaper she had seen recently for a Yorkie/Maltese mix. (a.k.a Morkie) The next day she had made an appointment to go and take a look. The minute I saw her I had to have her!!! There was no way I was going to be able to leave there with out her. So I didn't. I didn't even think about it. I had no dog supplies at all! No food, treats, collar, dog dish....NOTHING. Luckily Brenna had a lot of stuff from when she first got her puppy Lexy so we were really lucky. I hadn't even looked up Info. on this breed or anything and I had planned a trip to SLC with Brenna and had no idea who I was going to have watch her. Once again, Brenna came through for me and said that her mom was going to be watching Lexy and she had no problem taking care of Layni as well. So I didn't get to spend much time with her at first, but we have a had a lot of time together since and I am 100% satisfied with my impulse buy. While potty training has been a bit of a struggle, she is doing very good with it. Also her and Brenna's puppy Lexy get along SO GOOD!!! They are the best of friends!!
I'm not quite sure how I get talked into this almost every year but somehow, without fail it always happens. I get talked into playing at the Lin's Softball Tournament. I am not a very good softball player. I wish I was, but I am not. I would like to think of myself as more of a basketball girl. Anyway Lin's had their annual softball tournament. Every year all 5 Lin's stores meet together in Cedar City and have a friendly competion. And needless to say we got our butts kicked, it was almost embarassing. But it was fun! And apparently thats all that matters :)
I have finally purchased a new lap top! So hopefully I will be updating my blog more than once every 7 months! Haha!! Here is what my new baby looks like!
I recently went to California with my little sister Jennet and her son (my nephew) Jacob. It was such a fun trip! It was great to just get out of town for a few days and hang out with Lisa and Dan and all of the kids :)
We drove down on a Thursday afternoon and arrived at Lisa and Dan's around 8:00PM. We visisted and talked about what we wanted to do for the weekend. On Friday we went shopping of course, Saturday we got pedicures.
Sunday we went down to Newport to a fun and yummy cupcake shop called "Sprinkles". After cupcakes we went to Laguna Beach and were enjoying ourselves until we were given basically a live version of Katy Perry's song "I Kissed a Girl". I'm not gonna lie it was pretty disturbing! Ha! Anyhoo....other than that it was a great time!
It was Jacob's first beach experience and at first I don't think he really cared for the sand but after awhile he got used to it and had a lot of fun playing in it. The water was too cold to get in, but the weather was amazing! Hopefully it won't be long before I can go back. Thanks Lisa for letting us stay with you it was ALOT of fun!
Okay....so don't be mad....but I am finally getting around to posting Christmas pictures, but in my defense I don't have regular access to internet so I am going to use that as my excuse. Haha!
Christmas was amazing as usual. What made it amazing was being with family. I love getting together with all of the family no matter what the occasion. On Christmas Eve we all met at Mom and Dads and had a yummy meal followed by a short Christmas program. Then there was the exchanging of gifts from the brother and sisters families since we weren't all going to be together on Christmas Day. Here are a few pictures from the evening. :)
I was born in Ashland, Oregon and was raised in Medford. I lived there until I was 10 and then my family moved to St. George Utah. I have 2 older brothers, 2 older sisters and 1 younger sister. I have a total of 14 nieces and nephews all of whom I love and adore. I love to have fun and laugh!! Laughing is the best! I love my family and friends more than anything in this world! I hate change but usually when pushed love the outcome. My religion is what keeps me going from day to day without it I would be lost. The Office is the best show on television and has the ability to save lives. I love scary movies and being scared...crazy, I know! I love long walks on the beach at sunset...hahaha! I also believe that Cafe Rio could be the key to a lot of peoples happiness...it is amazing!!! All in all I just like to have fun and be happy!
